Love Dub

Love Dub is currently on Traxsource and climbing the Garage Top 100 sales chart. At the time of this writing the track is number 25 in that chart.

This music started it’s life as a remix that I created for Jonn Hawley and Mikey V’s song “This Love”. I was never completely happy with the mix down of that original composition and how the package was delivered into the world so I asked Jonn’s permission to retouch my instrumental and put it out as a newly refreshed dub. With his blessing, I mixed down and rearranged the music from the original parts by clearing out the board and starting the process from scratch. I ended up with a more muscular and dynamic version that feels fuller, even though it doesn’t have any vocals, which for a garage track is a rare thing.

I’m happy to see selectors are buying the track and sharing it on social media and playing it for their crowds. I hope that once it makes it to the streaming sites, everyone else catches the vibe too.
