The 22nd episode of Fresh Meat Podcast includes an interview and a DJ mix by one of Chicago’s best kept secrets, DJ Phillip Stone. The mix Phil has given us is 2 hours long so there’s only one track played before his DJ mix, a short interview, and two tracks thrown in after the mix. The bulk of the show features his expansive evolving mix. Phil has been DJing in Chicago and in various venues all over the country for well over 15 years. His roots are in the Midwestern Rave scene, like so many of us who came up in the 90s here in Chicago. You can catch him playing at his residency at Smart Bar or at any one of the many underground parties he graces with his music and skills behind the decks.
